Description
The OTANI EK1000 is a passenger-car tyre using an asymmetric tread design. OTANI states that the outer tread section is designed to enhance traction on dry surfaces, while the inner section is configured to accelerate water drainage on wet roads. The tyre also incorporates OTANI’s LNG (Low Noise Groove) Design, intended to reduce groove-generated noise.
OTANI also specifies a dedicated tread compound intended to support driving comfort and fuel-efficiency characteristics. The exact 205/70R15 specification is officially listed as 96V, with a 710 kg maximum load, 212 mm section width, 667 mm overall diameter and 7.5 mm tread depth.
